meldrum artThe house belongs to my mother in law, it’s a very beautiful place close to Paimpol, Brittany in France. I thought I would paint it but I ran out of time, I should not have waited until the last day of my visit. I am on holidays again now so hopefully I will find time to complete the painting using photographs as reference.
I am struggling with this, my colours are becoming muddy. Still, it’s a learning process, I am discovering and experimenting but most importantly, it makes me happy.
Shop on the street by Direk Kingnok. His style is similar to Alvaro Castagnet I think. I had no time myself to do any water colouring this week, I am busy at work so it might be a while before I have some free time on my hands.
I am finding it hard to find time to illustrate and paint during my lunch periods right now. I do have time, I just need the office to be calm when I illustrate and it has not been of late. Such is life….

Oh, I like this artist’s technique too! I’ll have to check out more of his work later, he seems to be very good.
