This episode was filmed in Pontrieux, France. I have to admit that this watercolour was a bit of a fight. When I had reached half way I really didn’t know if I would succeed or not. I’m glad I didn’t give up though because I am delighted with the end result.

Arata excelent.

I watched closely the evolution of the painting. It was a moment that could be the end of the action, namely at the time 24:46 of the movie. I selected an image. Looks great.

Hi Victor,
I was curious and so I went to 24:46 and had a look. It is interesting that you like the painting at that stage. I hadn’t planned for the painting to be so dark but I felt unhappy with it until I had put stronger reflections in the water. It’s not my normal style but I like it anyway, it’s a very unexpected result. Thank you for your comment.
Cheers,
David
